‌Flexible Working at the Centre

The Centre for Environmental Policy recognises the importance of a healthy work/life balance for all staff and strives to provide a supportive working environment that benefits both employees and the Department.

Flexible working is an option open to all staff at the Centre and is a way of working that accommodates an employee’s needs. This is available for all staff, including parents and carers. Flexible working can include having flexible start and finish times, working from home, job sharing and other arrangements, and can be designed to suit an individual’s needs.

Women in STEM Scholarships

The British Council and The ASEAN Secretariat, (ASEAN-UK) SAGE: Women in STEM Scholarships is now available, which aims to support women in southeast Asia

Please note that before your scholarship application can be considered, you must have received an offer to study for one of the eligible programmes by 11:59pm (UK local time) on Friday 5th April.

 Presidential Scholarships for Black-heritage students

As part of Imperial College London’s commitment to the Black community, we have introduced scholarships exclusively for students of Black heritage with Home fee status, for an undergraduate and Master’s (MSc and MRes) course.  

For studies starting 23/24 academic year, the deadline is 23.59 (UK local time), 24 May 2024. Please see the Presidential scholarships for students of Black heritage for details on how to apply

 Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee

Working to ensure the Centre becomes a more equitable, transparent, diverse and inclusive workplace. To that end, the EDI subcommittee will work to achieve Athena Swan accreditation, create and oversee systems for support and development of early career researchers, and develop procedures and materials for sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination.
